Air and water purifiers for 24 vaccination centres nationwide

THE National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) over the past few months has been crucial in fighting Covid-19.

As of Nov 2, more than 50 million vaccine doses have been administered to Malaysians, providing an added protection against the virus.

Supporting the nation’s battle against the pandemic, Cuckoo International (Mal) Sdn Bhd has helped to equip 24 vaccination centres across Malaysia with its water purifiers and air purifiers since the start of the vaccination programme.

“We see the nation’s vaccination drive as pivotal in steering Malaysia out of the pandemic.

“We are humbled to be given this chance to serve the country by completing vaccination centres nationwide with our Cuckoo Water Purifiers and Air Purifiers.

“This is part of our long-standing efforts to #SAMASAMA be by Malaysians’ side, especially during these trying times, and to #SAMASAMA walk with the nation towards a healthier and happier today,” said Cuckoo International founder and chief executive officer, Hoe Kian Choon.

Over the past few months, the company has been actively equipping 24 vaccination centres – from small community centres to mega centres – across the country with its water purifiers and air purifiers.

This includes support given to the vaccination centres at National Stadium Bukit Jalil and Arena Axiata in Kuala Lumpur, SPICE Arena and Kompleks Sukan Balik Pulau in Penang, Austin International Convention Centre (PIKAS) in Johor and Stadium Sultan Abdul Halim in Kedah.

“We have and will continue to support the nation in its fight against the pandemic where possible.

“This is part of our passion and mission in creating a safer, healthier and happier home for all Malaysians,” added Hoe.

Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020, Cuckoo International has contributed close to RM1mil by equipping temporary Covid-19 hospitals and vaccination centres nationwide with its water purifiers and air purifiers.

Part of the support is also a RM100,000 cash aid to My Starfish Foundation (previously known as Khind Starfish Foundation) to aid its efforts to procure and donate Covid-19 medical supplies to hospitals.
