KUALA LUMPUR: Healthy home creator, CUCKOO International (MAL) Sdn Bhd (CUCKOO International) has been installing its water and air purifiers at 24 vaccination centres (PPVs) nationwide, in support of the nation’s fight against Covid-19.
CUCKOO International Founder and CEO Hoe Kian Choon said the two-year fight against the Covid-19 pandemic had seen the country’s vaccination drive playing a pivotal in steering the nation out of the pandemic.
“We are humbled to be given this chance to serve the country by completing vaccination centres nationwide with our CUCKOO Water Purifiers and Air Purifiers.
“This is part of our long-standing efforts to #SAMASAMA be by Malaysians’ side, especially during “these trying times, and to #SAMASAMA walk with Malaysians towards a healthier and happier today,” he said.
Over the past few months, he said CUCKOO had been actively equipping its water purifiers and air purifiers at 24 vaccination centres across the country, from small community vaccination centres to mega vaccination centres under the PICK and PIKAS vaccination drives.
This, he said, includes support given to the National Stadium Bukit Jalil, Arena Axiata, SPICA Arena, Austin International Convention Centre (AICC) [PIKAS] and Stadium Sultan Abdul Halim vaccination centres.
Aside from supplying the frontliners and volunteers at the vaccination centres with mild alkaline clean drinking water, CUCKOO water purifiers were also made available to vaccine recipients, he said.
“On the other hand, the CUCKOO air purifiers purify the air at the vaccination centres, supplying fresher and safer air, especially in a closed environment.
“We have and will continue to support the Nation in its fight against the pandemic where possible. This is part of our passion and mission in creating a safer, healthier and happier home for all Malaysians,” said Hoe.
Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic last year, CUCKOO International has been steadfast in its efforts to support the Nation’s fight against the virus.
Part of the support includes a RM100,000 cash aid to My Starfish Foundation (previously known as Khind Starfish Foundation) in its efforts to procure and donate Covid-19 medical supplies to hospitals.
